Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Permanent Full-Time and Part-Time Position

Position Summary: Longevity Care Clinic is looking for a permanent full-time Nurse Practitioner and permanent part-time Nurse Practitioner to join their team! Longevity Care Clinic is a privately run, Nurse Practitioner-led women’s clinic in Fort St. John offering a variety of Women’s Health Services and IV Vitamin Therapy. This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner who will bring their clinical knowledge and passion for providing quality, compassionate care to women of all ages.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Diagnose and treat medical conditions and diseases within an NPs legislated scope of practice as outlined by BCCNM.

• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic investigations.

• Prescribe medication as indicated and within an NPs legislated scope of practice as outlined by BCCNM.

• Perform medical procedures within an NPs legislated scope of practice as outlined by BCCNM.

• Develop and implement evidence-based, holistic management plans for clients.

• Provide follow-up for clients, monitor progress, and modify and/or optimize management plans as needed.

• Accept referrals from, or make referrals to, specialists and other health care professionals.

• Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies.

Skills and qualifications include:

• Must have a passion for women’s health care.

• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

• Able to communicate effectively with clients, the public, and members of the Longevity Care Clinic team using verbal, written, and electronic communication means.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Ability to provide client-centered care that demonstrates empathy for clients and sensitivity to diverse cultures and preferences.

• Ability to manage challenging and emergency situations appropriately.

Education, Training and Experience Requirements:

• Graduated from an BCCNM approved Master's degree level nurse practitioner program.

• Current registration and in good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.

Hours of Work: Flexible
